Pajaro's Journey
a Middle School
Spanish Language iAdventure

Conclusion
What started out as an interesting history class dicussion for Pajaro, turned into a journey to other countries where Pajaro experienced cultures far different from the Gatemalan culture he was used to. Pajaro was driven by an interest to know about his ancestry. Most of us are also of mixed ancestries. Many of us have very little knowledge of our heritage. Today we begin a project where we will research our roots, going back as far as we are able to find out what brought the first of our family immigrants to America and what caused them to leave the various countries of their origins.
1. Each student is to create a Prezi presentation of their family tree similar to this example.
2. Each student is to identiify relationships using the family relationship Spanish vocabulary.
3. Each student is to identify, if possible, the Spanish vocabulary for nationalities found
among ancestors.
4. After completion of the project, students will present their family tree Prezi to the class orally or may record their presentations using Jing to create a Screencast.
5. Students are encouraged to check the rubric attached beneath to monitor their progress and to self-assess.
